All Dahlia'd Up

Living as vibrant as possible

Here in Alaska with no real hope of planting Dahlias in the ground until after Mother’s Day I start my seasoned tubers in the greenhouse and new stock, well in my living room.

I also take advantage before planting in May to do lots of planning for the season, which includes lots of yard prep and tucking future flower farm ideas in the folder for if not this year, then “next” year.

Slide1Since last year I consider it my test year. This season is officially my 1st. And will be starting off with a brand new business card that I’m totally ga-ga over! It’s has the purple dahlia I started with so very long ago on it that I’d gotten from the cutest brown eyed boy I had ever seen. It’s perfect in so many ways.
