Our pre-sprouted dahlia tubers are started here at the farm and will be ready for pickup on Mother’s Day weekend in May.
You choose your dahlias this fall, we get them growing, and you take them home ready for the next step in your garden.

What will your dahlia start look like?
At pickup, you’ll receive a sprouted dahlia tuber planted in a growing bag, with green growth and a developing root system already underway.
These are young, actively growing starts—not large, lush greenhouse plants. This is the same starting process we use for the dahlias we grow in our own flower fields every year.
Once the danger of frost has passed and outdoor conditions are suitable, you can plant your dahlia in the ground or transfer it to a large container, such as a 3-gallon planter.
Preorder in the fall. Pick up in May.

Fall preorders are for local farm pickup on Mother’s Day weekend in May at farm Flower Stand, located at 1963 South Innerspringer Loop in Palmer.

The first dahlia I ever grew came from my son Luke when he was in kindergarten. Years later, those dahlias became part of the beginning of this flower farm.
Now I get to send off young dahlia plants from this place with other gardeners, where they’ll become part of their gardens and stories.
