2020 Magic & Madness
Like many, the intensity of the last year has left me feeling a bit like I have been pushed through the per viable eye of the needle not quite on the other side, scratching my head wondering when this place of strange I’m in will ever subside. I have been running and pushing my flower farm forward with an urgency, a dire NEED to fill my heart full so full of beauty the nagging lingering grief over my son would be silenced to barely a whisper for the last 7 years. Hello Pumpkin
Nothing says fall more then pumpkins. My facination for them began a few years ago after a few somewhat if’y attempts at growing them. What fun it’s been to have a successful crop this year, especially. After picking out my favorites and adding some to our “Fall Feels” table scape we had in September, I bought some in the house. My daughters experience was funny. Like many students this year she’s taking colledge in our basement online. On one a particulary day she said everytime she came up stairs for lunch, water or a snack they kept having babies. I have plump pumkins of all sizes placed perfectly here and there all over…

Touched by the Flower Farm School Scholarship Response.
I had no earthly idea how my heart would feel reading the applications for our scholarship to attend the 2nd annual on-farm Flower Farm School coming this next summer. Within minutes of the announcement, scholarship applicants started showing up. Many of whom I’ve already had the plesure of meeting during one of our past dinner tours or workshops. Reading why flowers are so important for people. To know there are other flower lovers wanting to learn more about growing flowers, well, makes me smile and my soul warm.
