5 Valentine Gift Ideas

My favorite part of winter is when February rolls around. The days start to get a bit longer, the sun feels warmer, the little chickadees show up with a sweet flutter of chirping. And the best part it’s my birthday on the 7th and it’s the famous LOVE month.

We wanted to do something special to celebrate. In January we announced our flower farm tours for 2019. We are offering 3 different dates. So far each tour is 25% full. Along with our tours for Valentines here is a peak for some other All Dahlia’d Up gift ideas.

~Flower CSA Subscription, New this season is our flower CSA shares. When you become a member you get 8 weeks of flower arrangements at a large discount. CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Shares are typically purchased pre-season to help the farmer purchase seeds, potting soil and other farming supplies. So when you purchase a share you are supporting “local” agriculture in Alaska.

Flower Arrangements Ready for Delivery

~Up next our beautiful “handmade” dahlia flower pendants offered in our Etsy Store. I have to play with flowers all year. I have a confession creating each pendant supplies my flower addiction.

~Then our Flower Power book offered through our publisher. Flower Power is all about exploring what role flowers play in our daily lives, how they send us messages of enduring grace and can heal us in both physical and spiritual uplifting ways. The magic of Flower Power blooms page after beautiful page. For the flower enthusiast and the lover of life who wants deeper meaning, connection, and internal strength.

But wait there’s more…

~This summer we are opening an on-farm Flower Shop Market in July open a few days a week. So maybe a simple gift certificate is more up your ally. Just give us a call for arrangements at (907) 232-4580.

In our opinion no matter the season, flowers are always a good idea.
