Tips for growing sweetpea flowers in Alaska

Not Sweet Peas you eat, but Sweetpea flowers is what we’re talking about here.

Do you have a someone Sweetpea flowers remind you of? You probally do if you know of these frilly fragrant beauties. 

I fell in love with them further when I started growing them for market. Now on any given year we grow 8-10 varities. I have my go to’s but pick a few different ones to try each season just for fun. 

There are a few tricks to getting quality bushy plants with long stems I’ve learned over the years and now want to share them with you.
