Why white for the Pantone Color of the year for 2026?
For the last several years I’ve kept a thumb on the Pantone Color of the year mostly for self entertainment. I like to see “how” each years choice is seen and plays a role in/on my Alaska Grown flower farm. It’s amazing to me how color influences our lives. It started in 2022 with purple/blue Very Peri, then a very on “brand” color for me, Viva Magenta, both in my favorite purple-ish color family. Color of the year brought tears to my eyes
Who would’ve guessed that a color of the year announcement would evoke tears of deep personal emotion to my eyes and full body goosebumps. I resonated with how this color has been all around me, literally for over a decade? The exact 10 years I’ve been grieving my son. It’s also a hue I wear many shades of, color my hair with and often paint my toes with.
