Dahlia Nights Dinner Tour 2022, Incredible
Incredible, touching and magical, all words I heard to describe our last Dinner Tour of the season. The clouds parted to bless us with good weather and September crisp air elevating the night. Chef Dave as usual bringing his Alaska Grown A game that only he can create. And the flowers, top notch if I don’t say so myself. We asked the farms of the valley who I knew grew dahlias to contribute a dahlia focused arrangement to promote the Alaska Grown floral industry during the dinner tour. Flowers kept showing up
There it was, Bloom Imprints Slow Flowers Journal, “Botanical Couture Summer 2022 edition” with my article Flowers From The Heart; The purple Dahlia within its 88 pages. I can’t even begin to describe seeing my words published where thousands of eyes will take a sneak peak into how I started the business of my dreams, sharing the blooms I grow and their messages of love with the world. I wrote, “They say grief comes from not being able to receive love from the departed and lack of being able to express ours in return. Visitors Guide to Palmer Alaska
Come visit Palmer, Alaska. We’ve made it easier for you with our Visitors Guide. The small town S. Colony Way “main street” with one “blinky” 4-way stop light where pedestrians have the right-of-way is where I call home and run my flower farm. A great place for a day trip or weekend get-away with its famous Pioneer Peak views and roots deep in agriculture, including several “local” yummy lunch and dinner options. Many of which include Alaska Grown menu items and ingredients.
