Magic in the Dahlia Patch

Seems fitting to have red Dahlia’s blooming by July, Don’t you think?

July is going to be crazy fun busy! Kicking it off on the 4th with family and friends. Then my daughters Sweet 16 Garden Party on the 11th.

On Saturday July, 18 I’m so excited to be having our FIRST Flower Farm Tour Workshop and Alaska Grown Breakfast! You can still get tickets. Then the next weekend we hit the road for a wedding about 200 miles from home. Then throw in a family memorial BBQ a Bridal Shower and lots of out of town guests… Well no one said its ever boring around here  🙂 

In the meantime every day is magic in the Dahlia patch. Each dahlia plant is loaded with buds and I’ve been picking the first blooms to encourage more flower growth. The next few weeks should have All Dahlia’d UP open for business. –Which means we’ll have flowers ready for bouquets, arrangements and let’s not forget Monday Market at the Train Depot in Palmer!
