    I got Junk in my Trunk

    “I’m a reflection of my community“ Hi There, Last weekend my daughter and I par took in “I got Junk in your Trunk sale at the Who let the girls out event.  What were you thinking? 🙂 We loaded up our junk and hopefully someones treasure, about 8 dozen of our fresh eggs and joined the crowd of Junk in my trunkers. As we lined the streets I couldn’t help but think just how lucky I am to be able to live in a small town that really knows how to create community. Jenna scored a beautiful fire-weed necklace from another vendor and I was just happy to sell all our eggs. Yay…

    What I learned at a friends funeral

    “We can complain that rose bushes have thorns, or rejoiced that thorn bushes have roses.” ~Abraham Lincoln Three people in my life, a cousin and two friends all passed away in the last couple of months. Learning about each of these deaths has taken me to a different place in my own grief over my son. In some ways they have showed me places I’ve healed, but in others has been like ripping the band-aid off the wound revealing painful new territory.
