Poppin Up Pinwheels
While the Dahlias grow, Misty will play. I can’t help it. It’s part of my nature in almost every way. Where you see the pinwheels is my new Dahlia Patch. I’m so excited about it that its the first thing I think of every morning and almost the last thing every night. I literally lie awake thinking of ways to play on my Dahlia farm. I even play on. Facebook Pinterest And a new favorite, on Instagram! I LOVE thinking about and searching for ways to grow, display, arrange and share them. The Dahlias make me feel ALIVE and I want to share the gift!

Living as vibrant as possible
Here in Alaska with no real hope of planting Dahlias in the ground until after Mother’s Day I start my seasoned tubers in the greenhouse and new stock, well in my living room. I also take advantage before planting in May to do lots of planning for the season, which includes lots of yard prep and tucking future flower farm ideas in the folder for if not this year, then “next” year. Since last year I consider it my test year. This season is officially my 1st. And will be starting off with a brand new business card that I’m totally ga-ga over! Meet “Miss Dahlia”
Growing season 2015 hasn’t even started and I already have a spot to Double the size of my Dahlia production. WHOOP, WHOOP. A new weekly customer and get this… My very own flower truck! Meet Miss Dahlia… She’ll get cleaned up a bit, but basically staying the same. Maybe one day we will re-furb her. But I’m TOTALLY in love with her just as is though! Next time you see her she’ll be full of Dahlia’s of all colors!
