A New Wedding Venue in Town | Seasonal Alaska Grown Dahlia & Fresh Cut-Flower Farm

Now that the flower season here in Alaska has come to an end for us and I’ve had a chance to breath. Time for the planning.

Not sure if you knew we had a Wedding Vow Renewal earlier in the summer, a wedding photo shoot and suggestions we should start having weddings on our flower farm.

Guess what? I decided to jump in.

Well, cause that’s the way I role. What had me hesitating until now was figuring out all the details like, will receptions be apart of what we want to offer, to what the heck will the name be.

So I decided to get real quiet and close my eyes. When I opened them this is what I saw.

My son, Luke’s Poem…This Place. Instant tears to my eyes and a resounding YES from my heart.

The entire poem is so fitting. A couple of my favorite lines are… “A landscape so beautiful and wild yet not like the days gone by” and “A more perfect place is hard to find”
