🌸🌼🌷🌻 We’re Hiring For 2026 ✂🌱💐

Love flowers & working outside? We are now accepting applications for the 2026 flower season!
Our work environment at All Dahlia’d Up is clean, dirty fun together. We believe in balancing physical farm work with playing in the flowers as a reward. We focused on learning by doing through an environment that values constant coaching and feedback. An inquisitive and curious nature is important and welcomed! We thrive in constant communication and collaboration.
Interested in joining our flower team? We are hiring for the following position:
OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Position will be part time, Monday – Friday, generally 4-6 hours a day with some additional Saturday hours as needed during busy seasons for on farm events or flower stand. Starting May-Mid October.
The Operations Assistant will assist in management of team with various daily tasks including but not limited to: Planting flower crops, overall flower studio operations including making bouquets, working the Flower Stand, and assisting in flower harvesting, maintaining harvest records, cooler management and organization, some weeding, washing buckets, and any large team tasks that are required.
The Operations Assistant will be working closely with Misty to ensure that all orders and final products are fulfilled.
Ideal candidates will have experience in a fast paced job and be willing to multi-task in a changing environment. From field work to working with groups of people. With a general ability to enjoy and work outdoors daily. Flower knowledge is not required. Hourly rate starts at $18/hour based on experience. Age requirement for this position at least 18 years of age.
Additionally, Flower farming can be hard work despite all the pretty pictures. It’s repetitive with quite a bit of walking and requires attention to detail while going with the flow. Here on our farm typically what you start the day with isn’t the work you finished with. Different from day to day. No being bored here.
Keep in mind comfort for yourself while weeding, flower harvesting, hauling buckets of blooms, washing buckets and bouquet designing, even on cold or rainy days! You will be dirty, wet, cold and tired at times. On bright sunny days it can get hot. Dress in or have layers. Wear good work shoes/boots, Rain Gear and Boots is recommended as well as good fitting work gloves. Bring sunscreen and bug spray.
**Being able to use small hand and yard tools, like flower snips, rakes and shovels is necessary.
Also be aware of the fact that we sometimes end up weeding couple hours on our knees – those with significant knee injuries or pain might have a difficult time. There is no good way to efficiently do the work we do without being on our knees while we hand weed and during some farm clean-up.
However, I love having fun and I believe in balancing hard work with the fun during what we call “flower days” of working with and being guided by Misty creating bouquets for honor system days and the flower stand.
We have other team members from teens to 20’s you’ll be working with. However be prepared to be working by yourself at times.
The farm is also our home so you’ll see my husband, my daughter, granddog Tulip, Flora the black cat and other family members around.

- Is self-motivated, able to move quickly and efficiently complete the task at hand.
- Is committed to doing good work with a good attitude.
